About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Maryland and Virginia, with a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University (2009). My clinical focus is rooted in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and I have completed two rigorous, three-year ISTDP training programs—one at the Washington School of Psychiatry (completed in 2021), and the other at the ISTDP Institute (2021–2023). I continue to refine my skills through ongoing supervision and peer consultation with leading experts in the field, which supports my lifelong commitment to learning and growing as a therapist.
My therapeutic approach is active, focused, and collaborative. I work closely with you to identify and address the emotional patterns and relational challenges that may be contributing to internal distress or interpersonal difficulties. Together, we aim to create meaningful change in a timely and effective manner—helping you move toward greater emotional health, self-understanding, and fulfillment.
Before establishing my private practice, I worked with adults, adolescents, children, families, and groups at the Jewish Social Service Agency in Rockville. I also served as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant for multiple childcare centers across Montgomery County, supporting parents and educators in understanding and addressing young children’s emotional and behavioral development.
I strive to bring my clinical expertise, personal journey, and professional dedication into every therapeutic relationship. My goal is to support you with compassion, curiosity, and skill—so that you can move toward the change and growth you seek.
